Change in Venue

As previously announced, the Crowsnest Pass Quad Squad, Hillcrest Fish and Game and our Wildrose MLA, Pat Stier are concerned about the proposed draft management plan which proposes to phase out OHV use, both summer and winter on the present designated trail system in the new Castle and Wildland Parks. It is our feeling that the OHV use should remain under a properly controlled and maintained sustainable trail system. We feel that the Government has not given this topic proper allowances for public input into the draft management plan allowing only 60 days to do so which means that this draft may come into the actual plan on March 20th, 2017.

A Town Hall meeting is scheduled for Feb 7th, 2017 at the MDM centre, 2802-222 St in Bellevue, in the Municipality of Crowsnest Pass. The Meeting will start at 7:30 P.M. Doors open at 7:00 P.M.(Please google “MDM Bellevue” for map directions)
The purpose of this meeting is to allow the public to voice their concerns on these issues and to send a strong message to the Government. The public’s input will be recorded and forwarded in point form to the Government of Alberta.

This Town Hall meeting was originally advertised as taking place on Feb 7th, at 7:00 P.M. at the Cowley Community Centre however the venue has been changed due to the large number of the public that have indicated they will be attending from all over the Province.
